Description
A different look for technical diving, you realize that tec divers always wear more than one tank. Sidemount is an increasingly popular way to configure multiple cylinders for technical diving. Now lets show you how to be a side mount full face technical diver. You can enter the world of full face tec diving with the Tec Sidemount Full Face Diver course and apply what you learn to other TecRec courses.
If you’re an Advanced Open Water Diver, at least 18 years old and have a minimum of 30 logged dives, you qualify to enroll in a Tec Sidemount Full Face Diver course. It’s recommended that you also have Tec Sidemount Diver if completing in the sidemount configuration. Tec 40 or Higher. Full Face Mask Diver or equivalent. Equivalent certifications may apply

Academic
You’ll learn about the advantages of diving with a full face mask in the sidemount configuration and how to set up a tec sidemount full face mask hose routing and configuration. You’ll get hands-on training during one confined water session and three open water dives where you’ll start with two tanks and add at least two more, maybe even getting to six sidemounted cylinders.

Equipment
You’ll use full technical equipment and you'll use a full face mask technical sidemount configuration, plus two stage/decompression cylinders.
